BTU Group Top Services

BTU carries out the following services for Landlords and Letting Agents. Either as a one off service or part of an annual maintenance agreement or fully managed service.

  • Landlords Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)

Landlords are obliged by law to ensure all installations and appliances that run on fossil fuels (gas, oil and wood) are safe to use and are compliant with gas sfety regulations. A gas safety check needs to be carried out every 12 months and the Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) provided to the tenant within 28 days of issuing.

  • Gas Safety Check

A gas safety check includes an inspection and testing of the property's gas installation and appliances (boiler, cooker, water heaters and gas fires). This identifies and gas leaks or poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) and ensures the property has undergone the necessary safety checks. Learn more about what a BTU Gas Safety Check includes.

  • Annual Boiler Service

It is critical for landlords and homeowner to get their boiler serviced annually. This ensures it complies with the terms of the guarantee keeping it valid and identifies any ongoing problems that may need repairing. an annual service also ensures that the boiler is running smoothly and efficiently, which will save on heating bills. BTU services gas boilers, combi boilers, condensing boilers, oil boilers and back boilers, plus commercial or community boilers.

  • Annual Appliance Service

All gas appliances require annual servicing to keep them compliant and to keep guarantees valid. We service gas fires, warm air units, water heaters.

  • Statutory Electrical Inspections

As part of our Landlords and Letting Agents service and support we provide inspection and certification of electrical circuits and appliances as statutorily required.
  • Smoke Alarms and CO Detection

We also provide checks and installation of smoke alarms and CO detectors.
  • Boiler Repair

Our fully trained and accredited engineers can repair all gas, oil and back boilers.

  • 24/7 x 365 days Emergency Helpline

BTU runs a helpline that is open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year so that we can best support our customers when they encounter an emergency.

  • Fully Accredited Engineers

All of our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and are DBS checked for additional peace of mind.

Service Packages

We offer Letting Agents three levels of service:

Standard - For one off bookings.

Signature - With this package, calls are scheduled in advance or where there is an emergency areprioritised to ensure a seamless and stress free service.

Bespoke - Where a Landlord or Letting Agent has a large portfolio of landlord clients we are happy to devise a bespoke support package.
