When dealing with major capital schemes BTU (Heating) Limited focuses mainly in the capital replacement market offering new system design for existing buildings and equipment. This is achieved by employing the latest energy modeling software to facilitate the system design and plant selections, and taking clients existing energy consumptions then modeling these with new plant and equipment to offer systems that meet these designs whilst reducing carbon emissions and system operating costs. Currently BTU is in negotiations with major blue chip companies for the implementation of the Clinton Climate Change programme through the application of energy efficient technologies.

Speaking at BTU’s head offices in Guildford, Paul Merritt said “It’s cutting edge projects like these that have helped us stay at the forefront of new technologies, coupled with the expertise, drive and commitment of our team, allowing us to be strong contenders for awards such as this. We feel that a number of different factors of a diversified business have helped us achieve this award, proving we are not just a good heating company but a good business as well but we couldn’t have achieved it without the hard work of our team.”
